Curated by Elizabeth Munzon and Mister Toledo, Crossings invites viewers to explore the collective narrative of artists navigating their American identities while honoring their ancestral roots. Centered primarily on Los Angeles-based artists of Latin American descent, the group exhibition also includes voices from AANHPI, Middle Eastern and other immigrant communities.

​About Munzón Gallery:
Founded by artist Elizabeth Munzón in 2022, Munzón Gallery is a contemporary art gallery located in Cambodia Town, Long Beach, CA. The gallery has a particular focus on painting and printmaking, showcasing the works of emerging and mid-career artists who produce captivating and inclusive art that reflects the spirit of our era. In addition to our vibrant exhibition space, Munzón Gallery offers a unique opportunity for artists and printmakers by providing artist studios for rent, complete with access to various sizes of printing presses for relief printmakers. Furthermore, our gallery features a mural patio adorned with a collection of rotating murals curated by our resident studio artist, Mister Toledo. The dynamic combination of exhibition, studio spaces, and the mural patio creates an enriching environment for both artists and art enthusiasts to engage with and appreciate the diverse world of contemporary art.
