The exhibition will include paintings by contemporary Haitian and Haitian American artists; including Samuel Louis, whose magical realism portrays beautiful homes and people living their everyday lives; Jean Rene-Rinvil, whose digital works address social injustice in Haiti; and Ayanna Legros, who uses recycled objects to make Haitian art with a strong social message.
