ASK Application Process

In order to join ASK, you must complete the following steps:

  1. You must be enrolled in either a Math 112 or 114 course and/or English 100 or 100s course.
  2. You must fill out an ASK Application.
  3. You must complete the ASK Orientation located on the ASK Canvas Page.

ASK Requirements

Once you have completed the steps listed above, you will have successfully joined ASK. By joining the ASK program, you agree to:

  • Complete 2 academic support activities per week, which may include tutoring, AED course(s), DLA’s, embedded tutoring session, and workshops.

      • Drop-in Tutoring: Meet with a Success Center tutor and/or faculty for a 15-minute session. This is great if you have a quick question or found some extra time for tutoring. The Fall Tutoring schedule is Monday-Thursday 9 am - 9 pm; Friday 10 am - 2 pm; Saturday 10 am - 3 pm. 

      • Appointment Tutoring: Make an appointment for a 25-minute tutoring meeting with a Success Center tutor. You can request a specific tutor, or one will be assigned to you. Schedule appointments at least 24 hours in advance.

  • Email a completed Work-in-Progress report (filled out by your professor) to the ASK program.
  • Pass my Math course with a grade of “C” or better.
