Miodrag Micic

Miodrag "Mickey" Micic, Ph.D., Sc.D., M.T.M.,CSWP. is a Department chair and instructor of engineering design technology at Cerritos College. He also has a position of a Project Scientist at BioMEMS Lab, Dept of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, University of California-Irvine, and is a visting Professor at Singidunum University, Belgrade, Serbia and he is as a consultant to several well known medical devices and biotech companies . Prior to his Cerritos position he was for 10 years a Vice-President, Research and Development at MP Biomedicals LLC (Formerly ICN Biomedicals Inc), Irvine; Seniro Application Scientist at Veeco Metrology and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Pacific Northwest National Laboratories.

Dr. Micic is an author of numerous publications in leading scientific journals,. Dr. Miodrag Micic holds Ph.D. and M.S. in chemistry from University of Miami, Coral Gables, FL; M.T.M. from Washington State University, WA; and Sc.D, and M.Sc. in physical chemistry, B.Sc. /B.Ed. in physics and fundamentals of engineering from University of Belgrade, and B.Eng. from Polytechnical Academy of New Belgrade, Serbia.
