Math Prep at Cerritos College

Math Prep is a FREE summer program designed to help you review key concepts and build a strong foundation before your fall math course. Whether you want a structured, in-person experience or a flexible online option, Math Prep helps you begin the semester prepared.
Students who complete Math Prep are 20–40% more likely to pass their math course. A small time investment now can make a big difference this fall.

Math Prep is open to all Cerritos College students enrolled in a math course for fall. If you want to refresh key concepts, stay on track for your academic goals, and start the semester with confidence, Math Prep is for you.
Choose What Works for You
In-Person Bootcamp
A structured, on-campus experience where you’ll work alongside other students and connect with Cerritos College math faculty.
Dates: August 3–7, 2026
Time: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. (lunch provided)
Location: MCIS Building
Courses supported:
Statistics (STAT C1000 or C1000E)
Trigonometry (MATH 140)
Precalculus (MATH 155 or 155S)
Calculus I (MATH 170)
Best for students who want a structured schedule and in-person support.
Online Self-Paced Modules
A flexible option that allows you to review material on your own time, with instructor support available through Canvas.
Available: July 7 to August 13, 2026
Time commitment: About 8 hours total
