Jazz Showcase Concert to Benefit Music Students

WHAT: The 2018 Jazz Showcase, featuring Yamaha artist Tamir Hendelman, brings together faculty, students, alumni, and the community for a benefit concert to raise funds for student scholarships and purchase of new pianos. Tamir will join the Cerritos College jazz faculty Peter Buck, Michael Higgins, Jim Simmons, and Martin Torrez for an evening of musical pleasure.
In addition to the concert, Tamir will be hosting a master class for a select group of Cerritos College students. The master class is free and will begin at 2 p.m. on Thursday, October 18 in Burnight Center Room BC-51.
