Renowned Constitutional Scholar Laurence Tribe to speak via Zoom on Sep. 28

WHAT: World-renowned legal scholar Laurence Tribe will speak via Zoom to Cerritos College on Thursday, September 28, to present a dialogue on the 1st Amendment, Free Speech, the 14th Amendment, and other pressing constitutional questions leading up to the 2024 Presidential Election.
Tribe is a University Professor Emeritus at Harvard University. He previously served as the Carl M. Loeb University Professor at Harvard Law School. Former famous students of Professor Tribe’s include former President Barack Obama, Chief Justice John Roberts, Attorney General Merrick Garland, and Associate Justice Elena Kagan. Professor Tribe has made appearances on CNN for his expertise on Constitutional Law.
Dr. John Haas, history professor at Cerritos College and founder and director of the Global Consortium for Sustainable Peace, will host the presentation.
