Iveth Díaz serves as the Program Facilitator for the UndocuFalcon Scholars Program at Cerritos College.

Iveth is the proud daughter of Mexican immigrants and serves her community as an UndocuEducator. She attended the historical James A. Garfield High School in East Los Angeles and began her college career at Mt. San Jacinto College as an undocumented student. Iveth obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Ethnic Studies from California State University, San Bernardino as well as a Master’s in Higher Education from the University of Redlands. Iveth strongly believes in the power of community and is passionate about serving undocumented students and families. She loves reading, spending time with her pets (Luna, Taquito & Nala), and being amongst nature.

Gladys Calderon is the Assistant Director for the Equity Center and the UndocuFalcon Scholars Program. Gladys earned a BA in Political Science with a minor in Migration Studies from UC San Diego and later completed an MS in Higher Education Leadership & Student Development from California Baptist University. Gladys is passionate about providing student-centered services and hopes to create a space where all feel welcomed and capable, exactly as they come.

 

Dr. Lui Amador

Dr. Lui Amador (he/him/his)

Dean of Student Equity and Success

Dr. Lui Amador serves as the Dean of Student Equity and Success at Cerritos College. He is proud to work with the Equity Center team and to serve our undocu students. Dr. Amador received his Bachelors in Politics from UC Santa Cruz, a Master’s degree in Cultural Studies from Claremont Graduate University, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from California State University, Long Beach. Lui enjoys having adventures with his wife and children, and the head of the family, their cat Mufasa.
