Accommodations
The Office of Diversity, Compliance, and Title IX facilitates accommodations/supportive measures for members of our community who identify of transgender, non-binary, gender non-conforming, and gender variant. Some of the accommodations provided include:
- Preferred first name changes for students and employees on various platforms
- The issuance of a new Cerritos College ID card with a preferred name and/or new photograph, free of charge
- Notification to instructors, managers, colleagues, etc. regarding an individuals pronoun usage
- Email address changes
- Trainings
