Alternative and Renewable Maintenance Training
Employment Training Panel (ETP) Funded Training

Cerritos College is pleased to announce a new and exciting incumbent workforce training program for employees who are engaged in alternative fuels to support theAlternative and Renewable Fueland Vehicle TechnologyProgram (ARFVTP) that was created in 2007 under Assembly Bill 118.

Cerritos College's ATL Center is developing training in clean air transportation technologies for incumbent workers. The work is supported by direct partners who include Cerritos College ATL, Long Beach City College ATL, and El Camino College ATL, as well as agencies such as the California Energy Commission (CEC) and the Centers for Advanced Transportation & Renewables (AT&R).

Businesses have found a tremendous advantage to upgrading the skills of their current workforce utilizing California Employee Training Panel (ETP) training funds.This training is focused on clean air technologies forlight, medium and heavy duty vehicles including: hybrid-electric, electric, compressed natural gas (CNG),and liquefied natural gas (LNG). Much, if not all, of the trainingcosts to offer these courses to your business ororganization is offset through the ETP program.

Training is available to most employers engaged in the maintenance and service of alternative and renewable fuel vehicles and equipment. Courses range from 8 to 24 hours depending on the specific needs of your company.
