My name is Veronica Hendricks, and I have been an educator at the center since 2016. I have a B.A. in Child Development from the California State University of Los Angeles and a Site Supervisor Permit.
I live in Torrance, with my husband Lukas, my son Lukas Jr., and my dog Max. We like to spend our free time exploring the great outdoors. Our favorite places to visit are El Dorado Nature Preserve Park, South Bay Botanical Garden, and Abalone Cove. I have a passion for children’s books. You will often find me, in search of the latest intriguing, humorous, and unique books.
The Reggio approach provides authentic educational opportunities that encourage self-expression, communication, logical thinking, and problem-solving. That thirst for deeper understanding is transcended to include relationships, the community and families. I enjoy spending time with children as they learn, grow, question, and discover.
