Welcome to Health Occupations

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, The Office of the Health Occupations Division and Skills Lab, will be switching from a face-to-face to online customer service effective March 23 until further notice.

During this temporary office closure, we will continue to be available online from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday thru Friday.

Applications for the Dental Assisting, Dental Hygiene and Speech Language Pathology Assistant programs have been placed on hold. We hope to resume accepting applications May 8, 2020 through June 4, 2020. This will delay the date of advisement of acceptance status into the program. Please go directly to the individual program’s website for up-to-date information.

The Physical Therapy Assistant applications will be going to an online submission process. Please go to the program website for up-to-date information.

For information on the Child Development Center, please refer to their website of up-to-date information.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time.

Dental Hygiene Virtual application workshops

It is highly recommended, but not required, that Dental Hygiene applicants attend a workshop to learn how to complete the application.  The workshops will be conducted on Zoom.  After signing up for a workshop an email will be sent to the email on file that was selected as preferred.  A second email will go out 24-48 hours before the workshop with the meeting information and Zoom link.  All completed applications and official transcripts should be mailed in to school, in care of the Dental Hygiene Dept, Cerritos College, 11110 Alondra Blvd. Norwalk, CA 90650
