My name is Nancy, I’ve been an early childhood educator since 2007. I graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a degree in Child Development and Family Studies.
As an educator, I’m convinced that children thrive in a loving and safe environment that encourages them to play, investigate, problem solve, and work collaboratively. I wholeheartedly believe that curiosity and wonder are the two components that drive children to learn. I acknowledge that an enriching and purposeful indoor and outdoor environment is fundamental for children, granting them with the opportunities to learn, explore, and construct their own knowledge. My intention is to build a community of learners that value each other’s ideas and thoughts and seek to establish a culture of kindness and respect. Lastly, my hope is to foster strong long-lasting relationships with all the children and families through our positive everyday interactions, parent involvement in the school setting, and the ongoing support that goes beyond the classroom.
