Automotive Receives $10K Donation from Bozzani Volkswagen and the Greater Los Angeles New Car Dealers Association

Greg Bozzani, Joe Mulleary, and Bob Smith with studentsThe Cerritos College Automotive Mechanical Repair Program received a $10,000 donation from Bozzani Volkswagen and the Greater Los Angeles New Car Dealers Association (GLANCDA) at the campus Automotive Career Fair on October 1. Bob Smith, executive director of GLANCDA, and Greg Bozzani, owner of Bozzani Volkswagen, presented the check to Joe Mulleary, chair of the Automotive Mechanical Repair Program. The funds will support student scholarships and training equipment.

“These students are the future of our industry," said Smith. "We always need skilled technicians that are up to speed with the latest technologies. We are pleased to support dedicated students advancing their automotive education at Cerritos College.”

Both Bozzani Volkswagen and GLANCDA have been strong supporters of the College’s automotive programs.

The Automotive Career Fair featured nearly 10 dealerships from across the greater Los Angeles region. More than 40 students had the opportunity to network with employers and automotive professionals.
