Cerritos College to break ground on new Student Services and Administration Building

Facility to become new gateway to campus

Student Services and Administration Building renderingWHAT: Cerritos College will celebrate the groundbreaking of the new Student Services and Administration Building with a ceremony on February 21.

Supported by Measure G and CC Bond dollars and state funds, the Student Services and Administration Building will become the new gateway to Cerritos College. The project includes the new Student Services Building, Administration Building, drop-off area, parking, and new main entrance with a traffic signal. 

The building will bring the various student services currently scattered throughout the campus together in one location. These services include the Welcome Center and new student support, Educational Partnerships and Programs, Counseling, student government, Equity Center, Active Learning Center, Career Services, Transfer Center, Admissions and Records, Financial Aid, Falcon’s Nest, computer labs, classrooms, meeting rooms, conference room spaces, administrative offices, and a board of trustees meeting room. The construction work is anticipated to finish by 2026.
