Faculty team participates in AAC&U's New Institute on AI, Pedagogy, and the Curriculum
Five Cerritos College faculty members are among the 124 higher education institutions selected to participate in The American Association of Colleges and Universities (AAC&U)’s inaugural Institute on AI, Pedagogy, and the Curriculum. This new, fully online institute is designed to help departments, programs, colleges, and universities respond effectively to the challenges and opportunities artificial intelligence (AI) presents for courses and curricula.
Led by Kimberly Rosenfeld, professor of communications studies, the Cerritos College faculty team includes Janet Mitchell Lambert, lead distance education coordinator; Teresa Lantz, professor of accounting/finance; Terrance Mullins, associate professor of political science, and Angela Nagao, professor of speech communication.
The team joined the institute’s kickoff event in September and will conclude its activities with a closing capstone event in April 2025. Between those events, the team will engage in virtual events, mentorship, and interactions as it develops and implements AI action plans for their classrooms and curricula.
