New Product Development was created to introduce students to product development in a global economy. Students learn how to identify customer needs, analyze costs, develop concepts, design, generate prototypes, understand supply chain integration, create products, and perform product testing.  Cerritos College's New Product Development program integrates specialized skills from Engineering Design Technology, Machine Tool Technology, Plastics/Composites, Woodworking, and Welding. By merging these diverse fields, the curriculum prepares students to excel in a fiercely competitive and evolving global industry.
