District Vehicle Information

The maximum number of passengers including the driver shall not exceed seven (7) for a mini-van.  Fewer passengers are recommended to allow for sufficient luggage space.

District vehicles currently available for use:

  • 7-passenger mini-van 
  • Pick-up truck
  • Stake bed truck

Per AP 6530, All drivers must must be approved by Campus Police prior to driving a District vehicle or leased vehicle.

Multi-Day Trips

For multi-day trips, vehicles may be rented through the Purchasing Department.  All appropriate sections of the Transportation Policy shall apply for all rental vehicles. (Discretionary Education Code, Section 70902)

Please be aware that rentals of vehicles for the transportation of faculty and staff will be paid from the appropriate Division budget.

Vehicles rented to transport students for multi-day trips require that a signed Transportation Request be submitted to the Facilities Department four (4) weeks prior to the trip.
