On behalf of the Puente Project and Cerritos College, we would like to welcome you to our Puente familia. We have a long and rich history of creating leaders for the next generation. As a team we believe in our students' potential and ability to achieve their academic and career goals. We invite you to contact us and discuss and explore your goals in order to assist you in developing a plan for a successful future.

The Puente Project is a national award-winning program that for more than 37 years has improved the college-going rate of tens of thousands of California's education ally under-represented students. Its mission is to increase the number of educationally disadvantaged students who enroll in four-year colleges and universities, earn college degrees and return to the community as mentors and leaders to future generations. The program is interdisciplinary in its approach to writing, counseling and mentoring components, and the cohort model provides students an opportunity to establish lasting relationships with fellow students, Puente instructors in Counseling, English, and Library. For more information on the Puente Program, please visit https://puente.berkeley.edu/.
