if you plan to graduate during the 2024-2025 school year...
You MUST submit a Graduate Petition form to graduate from Cerritos College.

Those who are cleared to graduate by Admissions will receive email communication during mid-Spring 2025 semester to participate in the Commencement ceremony on May 23, 2025. 

Graduation Petition Timelines You Need to Know:

  • Fall 2024 Graduation Petition Period: 08/12/2024 - 11/01/2024
  • Spring 2025 Graduation Petition Period:   01/13/2025 - 03/21/2025
  • Summer 2025 Graduation Petition Period: 01/13/2025 - 03/21/2025

 

To participate in the Commencement ceremony and have your name printed in the 2025 ceremony program booklet, petitions must be received by the Admissions office by 03/21/2025.

Email communication, for those students who have submitted their petitions, will begin in April.
