New Partnership with National University Brings Affordable Bachelor's Degrees in Criminal Justice, Nursing, and Paralegal to Cerritos College

Cerritos College expands its degree program to include affordable, four-year bachelor’s degrees from National University. The new partnership gives Cerritos College students a 15 percent tuition reduction and a special scholarship opportunity to pursue three Bachelor of Science degree programs in criminal justice, nursing, and paralegal studies. Classes are offered at Cerritos College with some hybrid online courses. An additional 25 percent tuition reduction is offered on courses completed at Cerritos College.

National University classes are flexible four-week evening courses, allowing students to focus on one subject at a time and finish a degree faster. Applications and transfers are accepted year round. Some of the National University classes will begin as early as June 2019. National University is a private nonprofit university based in San Diego.

Cerritos College also has an agreement with Northwood University since 2006 to offer the Michigan-based University’s Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Applied Management programs on Cerritos College campus.

“We are pleased to partner with National University to offer our students seamless transition to a four-year degree program,” said Rick Miranda, vice president, academic affairs, Cerritos College. “This partnership with a special scholarship will help remove financial barriers our students face. The flexible courses allow students to complete a degree and achieve their goals faster.”
