Automotive Collision Repair Receives $5K Donation from I-CAR and Service King

Service King representative with students and facultyThe Cerritos College Automotive Collision Repair Program received a $5,000 grant from the Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair (I-CAR®)’s Collision Repair Education Foundation and Service King, the national automotive collision repair company, on December 4.

The College was one of five collision repair schools nationwide that received the grant.

Alan Saviano, senior vice president of operations, Nick Cortez, West Coast recruiting manager, and Lakeitria Luter, seinor manager of strategic sourcing presented the check to Tony Chisum, chair of the Automotive Collision Repair Program. The funds will support training tools and equipment.

I-CAR has been a strong supporter of the College’s Automotive Collision Repair Program and its students for more than 10 years, providing tools, equipment, machines, grants, and resources.
