American Sign Language III
- Students use American Sign Language vocabulary in context, including dialogues and readings on a variety of subjects including telling locations, conversational strategies, telling about life events, describing shapes, and discussing recreational activities.
- To further develop awareness of the unique cultural aspects of the American Deaf Culture.
- To prepare and present an individual presentation incorporating the linguistic structures learned during the course.
- Students attend two deaf events, interact with deaf individuals, and evaluate success in interacting linguistically and culturally.
