Frida Kahlo and Mexican Muralists
- Recognize some structures of the major writers, literary works, movements such as the Mexican Revolution, the Riots/Revolts that lead to the Revolution, the Agrarian Reforms, Mexican Muralism, et al; trends such migration, music, vestments, etc.; and genres in Mexican art and literature from 1900 to 1960.
- Write creative essays and analytical works in which students synthesize their acquired knowledge; that demonstrate knowledge of the culture, history, literature, and geography of this period.
- Demonstrate advanced critical thinking and writing skills through the analysis of literature, such as novels, essays, biographies, and documentaries.
- Demonstrate appreciation of diversity, and learn to interact with people of all cultures, ethnicities, and religious backgrounds.
