Applied Music Recital Schedule tba
For the audition, you should prepare a brief musical composition (no more than five
minutes) that demonstrates your musicianship and technical achievement. Auditions
are held the Wednesday prior to the beginning of each semester.
Please call the Music Department at (562) 860- 2451 ext. 2629 to inquire about scheduled audition dates and times.
At the audition:
Perform a brief musical composition that showcases your musical talent in a Classical, Jazz, or Musical Theater style.
A theory exam on the fundamentals of music will be required.
Bring your sheet music. An accompanist will be provided.
