Areté: (Ancient Greek: ἀρετή), excellence of any kind; the act of living up to one's full potential.
Areté offers academic support to students enrolled in philosophy classes in the areas of:
- Writing philosophy papers
- Reading primary sources
- Reviewing Logic concepts relevant to logic classes
- Guiding students in completion of homework
Drop by on an as-needed basis for help!
Arete is offered in the fall and spring semesters (No summer hours at this time).

Mon & Tues: 9:30 am - 11:30 am in SS-16 (basement of Social Science) and online via ZOOM
Wed: 3:30-5:30 pm (Online Only)
