Required Immunizations & Health Screenings

In order to be placed on most hospital, home health & skilled nursing clinical internships, students must provide proof of immunization and/or positive blood titer lab results for the following:

  • MMR (Measles, Mumps & Rubella)
  • Varicella
  • T-dap (within the past 10 years)
  • Hepatitis B
  • Flu (Yearly/Seasonal)
  • Covid-19  

Other Mandatory Health Requirements include the following:

Tuberculosis Clearance

Students must provide one of the following:

  • PPD Skin Test (Yearly)
  • QuantiFERON Gold Blood Test (Yearly)
  • Chest X-ray (within the last 3 years)

Physical Exam

Each admitted student must provide a current physical exam completed on an approved Cerritos College PTA form
