Canvas Insights has replaced eLumen for Learning Outcomes assessment. It is available now. Be on the lookout for future announcements and monthly CTX workshops providing instructions and demonstrations on how to use Canvas Insights for learning outcomes assessment and mapping. Below you can see a recording from a CTX Workshop demonstrating how to use Canvas Insights to assess CSLOs.

At Cerritos College, the entire campus works together to support student learning in all of its courses, programs, and services. Faculty at Cerritos College engage in the assessment of student learning outcomes (SLOs) to evaluate the extent to which students achieve the learning outcomes identified on the official Course Outline of Record (COR).
The college fosters a collaborative assessment process which allows faculty and staff to reflect on how well students are learning, as well as to develop and implement plans to improve student learning. Results from the assessment of SLOs are used to inform data-driven innovation to optimize student success.

CSLO CYCLE
The Faculty Senate approves the below Three-Year Student Learning Outcomes (SLO) cycle. This cycle entails the assessment of every course's SLO during the first and second years, followed by an analysis and improvement phase in the third year.[1]
[1] Department/Programs that carry out SLO assessments for external accreditation purposes can continue using their regular SLO assessment schedule. However, assessment results and corresponding action plans must still be recorded in eLumen. Departments/Programs may stagger assessments throughout the entire 3-year cycle.
PSLO Cycle
The Faculty Senate approved the SLO Committee's recommendation of the 6-year Comprehensive Program Review cycle that distinguishes the timeline for assessing and evaluating course-level student learning outcomes and program-level outcomes, and updates to department curriculum. This recommendation was approved on November 8, 2022.
