For 30 years, Cerritos College has had one of the most successful Automotive Training
Programs in the region. Today, we are one of the most comprehensive Automotive Training
Centers in the country. Cerritos College offers certificates, degrees and special
programs in automotive repair, collision repair, alternative fuels, smog training,
advanced transportation technology and automotive management.
Our college has partnerships with several vehicle manufacturers to offer brand specific technician training. Those partnerships are with General Motors (GM ASEP), Ford Motor Company (Ford ASSET), and Stellantis (Chrysler CAP). We also have an Import Technician Training Program (ITTP) that includes a broader look into several import brands. Our partnerships are with Subaru (Subaru U), Nissan (Nissan Technician Training Academy), Audi (Audi Education Partnership), and now Mercedes-Benz (MB Campus). All the program options prepare students for the workforce by providing classroom and hands-on instruction as well as paid on-the-job training.
Cerritos College offers dual enrollment with Artesia High School. With dual enrollment, high school students can take college classes where they receive both college units and high school credit.
The Advanced Transportation and Logistics program (ATL) was created as a means for keeping California competitive as a national leader in advanced transportation and energy technologies. Cerritos College is one of ten centers in California dedicated to advancing our students though education. Our programs include Advanced Transportation, Renewable Energies, Alternative Fuels, and Logistics.
