Automatic Vehicle Identification (AVI)

AVI involves collective application of communications and electronic technologies to provide identification of vehicles.

AVI is used in ATMS and CVO for electronic toll collection and traffic management (ETTC), and also in CVO for tracking cargo
(in combination with barcode technology).
