Paul Bleak Named Employee of the Month of September 2019
The Outstanding Classified/Confidential Employee Selection Committee named Paul Bleak
as the recipient of the Outstanding Classified/Confidential Employee of the Month
Award for September 2019.
Paul received his A.A. in General Studies from Cerritos College in 2001, and transferred to California State University, Fullerton, where he received his B.S. in Human Services with an emphasis in mental health in 2004. In 2015, Paul became a full time classified employee for the Office of Educational Partnerships & Programs.
Paul is the first person that most visitors to the EPP office encounter. He is always friendly and helpful, goes above and beyond to ensure that whatever a student, parent, Cerritos employee, or community member needs, they get their questions answered or are directed or taken to another department that can help. He plays a key role in Cerritos Complete compiling data and communicating with students and does so while also working at an extremely busy counter with frequent visitors and phone calls. This past year, students participating in Cerritos Complete almost doubled and Paul has remained the customer service orientated individual, keeping a positive attitude with challenges and handling difficult people with a helpful smile on his face.
He is a tremendous resource to the campus and will drop anything he is doing to help another person. He truly cares about the students and staff of Cerritos College.

The administration, staff, and students appreciate your personal attributes and outstanding efforts. We are proud that you are a Cerritos College employee and we commend you for your outstanding service and dedication," said Board President Carmen Avalos, as she presented the award to Paul.
