Student Services Keenly Focus on Semester Goals and Team Building
The Student Services area kicked off the academic year with an area-wide event on
September 13. This year the event was centered on acknowledging the impact of Student
Services on student success. "It is always important to take time to celebrate and
acknowledge the achievements of our Student Services faculty, staff, and managers
who excel in supporting our students on a daily basis," said Dr. Dilcie Perez, Vice
President of Student Services.
Utilizing the Ted Talk by Simon Sinek titled "How Leaders Inspire Action," the event provided an opportunity for Student Services divisions to articulate why their programs and services are critical to our students and the mission of the college.
