If you are requesting a classified representative for a hiring committee, please use this form Hiring Committee Request

  • If the position is for a classified job, use the "selection committee composition-CLASSIFIED" and select the number of representatives you want.
  • If the position is for a classified manager, academic manager, executive position, use the "selection committee composition-NON-CLASSIFIED"
  • If the position is for a adjunct or full-time faculty, use the "selection committee composition-NON-CLASSIFIED". The selection committee must agree to have a non-voting classified member before you complete this form. 

PROCESS
Thank you for completed the hiring committee request form. Please find our steps below to help you understand our process.

  1. The manager completes the CSEA hiring form.
  2. CSEA then:
    1. Develops a volunteer form
    2. E-mails all classified with a timeframe, closing date and a volunteers link.
    3. CSEA checks to see if there are sufficient volunteers and if there are not enough volunteers then the timeframe is extended. If after trying to recruit volunteers we can't fill it, then CSEA will reach out to the manager.
  3. Once the volunteers are finalized then it goes to the executive board for discussion and approval.
  4. Once approved a notification will be sent to the Manager and Human Resources. 
  5. CSEA representatives selected will receive an email confirmation.

We make every effort to have a confirmation within 7-10 business days from the request date. However, if we need to extend the volunteer timeframe, this can impact the response time. If you have questions, please contact the Chapter President.
