The Annual Advisory Committee Members' Recognition Breakfast is held in recognition of the many contributions your advisory committee members have made and are making to the college. We count on their guidance and assistance to ensure our curriculum is relevant and our technology is up to date.

2026 Professional Development Activity Related to Advisory Committees - Wednesday, March 4, 2026 (Online via Zoom)
The college invited Kevin Fleming again to present best practices for advisory boards, emphasizing shared ownership with industry partners and the role of social capital in supporting student career connections. The session outlined a continuum of employer engagement strategies, from classroom interaction to formal advisory participation, and highlighted the goal of helping students build meaningful industry networks prior to graduation. Faculty received practical worksheets and planning tools to strengthen advisory committee engagement and support program improvement efforts identified through the CLNA and Perkins continuous improvement process.
