Student Responsibilities

Upon joining LINC/NextUp, students will have access to LINC/NextUp services. Adhering to student responsibilities helps make the most our of your college experience. With continued participation in LINC/NextUp services, we can work together to help you achieve your academic and career goals.

ONE-TIME - LINC & NextUp

  • Complete LINC/NextUp Orientation to officially join the program

EACH ACADEMIC TERM (Fall & Spring) - LINC

  • Enroll only in courses listed on current Education Plan (Required every term to maintain eligibility. LINC/NextUp Counselors can help with this)
  • Complete Wellness Check-in each Fall and Spring semester
  • Complete 1st, 2nd and 3rd counseling appointments each Fall and Spring Semester within the designated dates

EACH ACADEMIC TERM (Fall & Spring) - NextUp

  • Enroll in at least one course for credit and have an education plan with the future goal of enrolling in nine units (LINC/NextUp Counselors can help with this)
  • Complete Wellness Check-in each Fall and Spring semester
  • Complete 1st, 2nd and 3rd counseling appointments each Fall and Spring Semester within the designated dates.
