Child Development Training Consortium

California Early Childhood Mentor Program

The Mentor Program is a wonderful opportunity to help out a new teacher in the field -- also a great way to supplement your income :)  You  must have completed a practicum class (which is CDEC 164 at Cerritos College), qualify for the Master Teacher Level on the Permit and have been teaching for at least two years.  Please contact Dionne Gibson for an application at dgibson@cerritos.edu


National Association for the Education of Young Children

Why should you become a member?  Because it is a fabulous opportunity to network, be involved in advocacy work and find out everything there is to know about the field of early childhood education.  When you join National, you automatically become a member of CAEYC and you may choose your local affiliate.
