International Online and Dual Enrollment
Cerritos college offers online programs that allow international students to earn college credits towards a transfer degree online while abroad:
- Get a head start earning college credits
- Save money: eliminate travel, living, and visa expenses that international students in the U.S. must pay
- Take classes fully online AND remain abroad, outside of the U.S. (no F-1 visa)
What is Online Enrollment and who is it for?
- Any person who is not a U.S resident or citizen, who resides outside of the US, and who is over the age of 18 can take classes online, in an asynchronous model, earning college credits towards an associates, a certificate, and/or transfer credits for a 4-year University.
- An I-20 is not issued for Online Enrollment.
- Enrollment can be full time or part time.
What is Dual Enrollment and who is it for?
- Dual Enrollment is for current Middle and High School students who are not a U.S. resident or citizen, who reside outside of the U.S. and attend a middle school or high school outside of the U.S..
- Students can take classes online, in an asynchronous model, while completing their primary education, earning college credits towards an associates, a certificate, and/or transfer credits for a 4-year University.
- An I-20 is not issued for Dual Enrollment.
- Enrollment should be part-time.

Inquiries about the status of an application will only be released to the applicant and/or the authorized third party.
Note: Please be aware that all documents submitted become property of Cerritos College and will not be returned.
Application Instructions
Please complete the International application form.
- Under 'Program of Study,' write ONLINE LCP - Business Admin OR Economics (write the specific major you are selecting).
- Email completed form to intadmissions@cerritos.edu .
$50.00 US dollar (non-refundable) Application fee: Once you have submitted your application, you will receive a Welcome letter that includes your Cerritos Student ID, username, and instructions to set up your MyCerritos Portal.
Once logged in, click 'Student Center' and browse to the 'Finances' section to make your payment.
Applicants must meet Cerritos College's minimum English Proficiency requirement.
English Proficiency Test Score accepted (no older than 2 years from date of application):
- TOEFL - Internet-Based 45 or 450 Paper-based. (Cerritos College Institution Code: 4083)
- IELTS - 4.5 to 5.0 overall band score
- iTEP - 3.0
- STEP-Eiken - 2A (if the score is a 2, a minimum raw score of 2150)
- Cambridge English Language Assessment - English C1 Advanced exam with a score of 180-199.
- Duolingo - 80
- PTE (Pearson Test for English) Academic - 40
- GTEC CBT - 1051
- Oxford EELT - 4 (Promo code: CCN10)
for ONLINE ENROLLMENT (must be 18+ years of age), email the following documents to intadmissions@cerritos.edu
- identity page of valid passport or other Identification
- Copy of high school transcript
for DUAL ENROLLMENT (current middle/high school students) please complete the International Dual Enrollment Consent form:
- Student – Read and sign Section I of the application.
- Principal/Designee – Read the entire application and sign Section II.
- Parent/Guardian – Read the entire application and sign Section III.
