Newly Admitted F-1 International Students (outside the U.S. and change of status) must inform the OISS office regarding updates of their visa and/or I-539 status before enrolling in classes.

1. Schedule an appointment with an international academic counselor and create an education plan.

2. A registration date will be assigned to you via email (Check your myCERRITOS account).

3. Enroll for classes and pay fees for your intended first semester.

4. Complete the F-1 International Student Orientation Canvas Course and upload all required documents and complete all required assignments. Please check your emails from OISS on how to register the course. **This is separate course from Falcon Orientation - Falcon Orientation does not excuse you from completing the International Student Orientation Course. 

5. Purchase Medical Insurance (The required international student insurance must be purchased through the institutional carrier at Cerritos College - no exceptions)

2. Passport(s)

3. Visa (Stamped inside your passport)
4. Student Agreement

5. Check-In Form

6. Proof of purchase of Medical Insurance (The required international student insurance must be purchased through the institutional carrier at Cerritos College)
