Campus Event Planning
Producing a campus event requires preparation and planning. This page will provide the steps and resources to ensure a successful event.
- Schedule a room in 25live
If you do not have access please contact Denise Marshall.
Please note: 25live does not guarantee approved usage of the facility.
Confirmation from Scheduling Specialist must be received before publicizing your event.
- Create a special events checklist.
Samples have been stored on the Forms Page under Event Planning. - If you are contracting an outside speaker or performance group, please fill out a Request for Contract.
- Media Support
If you require media support, please follow this link to Media Production - Promotional Materials
If you require promotional materials such as a flyers, brochures, or invitations, contact the Graphic Design department.
PLEASE NOTE: You must include this statement on all your promotional material: If disability accommodations (e.g. communication access, alternate formats) are needed to participate fully in any event, please submit your request to AccommodationsRequest@cerritos.edu within seven days in advance of the event. - Flex Reporter
If you would like to add your event to FLEX Reporter please fill out the Flex Reporter Workshop Request Form.
- Event Promotion
Promote your event. Submit a request to the Daily Falcon if you would like to open the event campus wide. Contact Monica Acuna to add your event to the Employee Development Calendar.
- If you would like to have an event catered please read Board Policy AP 6905 before making any arrangements.

- Create a Set-Up and email it to Denise Marshall. You may download an existing set up and change it to fit your event from the Forms Page under Event Planning.
- Event parking (including requests for more than 15 permits or citing restriction) shall be subject to the prior approval of the Vice President, Business Services or his designee by filling out the Parking Waiver Request Form. Questions can be directed to Campus Police Chief Don Mueller or Vice President Felipe Lopez
