Medical Benefits

The District offers medical benefits for full-time employees and eligible dependent(s).  The 2022 District maximum contribution for medical insurance premiums will be $23,500.00/annual for Full-Time Faculty and Classified employees and $22,065.00/annual for Full-Time Confidential, and Management employees. 

Dependent children are eligible for medical coverage until the end of the month of their 26th birthday.  CalPERS will notify them of their eligibility to continue their medical coverage through COBRA. 

There are ten (10) medical plans offered through CalPERS in which to select from. There are currently eight (8) HMO plans and two (2) PPO plans. To enroll or make changes to your health plan, please complete the Health Benefits Plan Enrollment Form (HBD-12) and submit via email to Kelly Rios at
