CalPERS health premiums are determined annually through the CalPERS rate development process. For additional information, please visit the CalPERS website. 

To review current health premium rates, please refer to the Public Agency & School Members rate charts available on the CalPERS Plans & Rates page.

Please note that the rates listed on the CalPERS website reflect monthly premiums. The monthly premium is multiplied by 12 to determine the annual premium amount. For employees paid on a tenthly basis, the annual premium is divided by 10 to determine the tenthly deduction amount.

All benefits-eligible employees are encouraged to create a myCalPERS account, regardless of their retirement agency, to access helpful resources and tools related to their health plan enrollment.
