The Cerritos Community College District is committed to creating and maintaining an academic and work environment that is free of harassment and discrimination based on protected class and sexual harassment. The District's Annual Notification provides employees and students with information on District policies and procedures regarding Nondiscrimination and Sexual Harassment, resources, and persons to contact with questions and concerns. In accordance with the District's Administrative Procedure (AP) 3420, the District established and maintains a Diversity and Equal Employment Opportunity Advisory Committee (DEEOAC), which includes a diverse membership and represents all college constituent groups. The responsibilities of DEEOAC include reviewing the EEO Plan and programs and monitoring their implementation, in addition to reviewing and advising on employment selection procedures, selection committee and process monitor training, recruitment efforts, and processes that impact the District’s ability to attract and retain a diverse faculty and staff.
