Gary Pritchard is currently the Instructional Dean of Fine Arts and Mass Communications Division at Cerritos College where he previously served as the Interim Instructional Dean of the Division. Prior to his administration appointment, Dr. Pritchard served as a Professor of Music History and Ethnomusicology at Cerritos College for 14 years. Additionally, his teaching experiences include adjunct and visiting lecturer assignments at UC Irvine in the School of Social Sciences and The Claire Trevor School of the Arts and at Cal State Long Beach in the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music. He holds a Ph.D. in the Social Sciences from UCI, M.A. in Music from the Claremont Graduate School, and a B.Mus. from Chapman University. Dr. Pritchard is also a two term Governing Board Member and Past-President of the Board of Trustees for the Capistrano Unified School District.
