Info for Continuing Students

  • Fall 2020 Priority Enrollment
Fall Priority Enrollment takes place June 8th and 9th. Please check your MyCerritos account to identify your appointment date and time to enroll online.  Students who need assistance from an SAS counselor during priority enrollment should use our Schedule an appointment form to sign up for our "online walk-ins" to be held on June 8th, 9th, and 10th. See the Online Enrollment page for information on how to enroll online.

SAS encourages students to review their educational plans prior to enrolling in classes.  Please see the Counseling Dept's Student Resources page for tips on course selection, including How to View your Student Ed Plan (SEP).

IMPORTANT: Be sure to check MyCerritos for any holds on your record. If you have a "PRB" or "100+" hold on your record, you will not be able to use your priority enrollment appointment. Students with these holds may receive assistance submitting an appeal to restore their Priority Enrollment privileges by making a phone appointment with their specialist.

  • Schedule of Classes
The Fall 2020 Schedule of Classes will soon be available online via Schedule Plus.  At this time, the tentative plan is to offer Fall classes in mostly online formats, with some exceptions.  Please view the following video announcement from Dr. Fierro (5/8/20), which includes information regarding the fall semester.

  • Summer and Fall 2020 Services
Students who wish to request accommodations such as extra time on exams or interpreters must make a phone appointment with their specialist after they are enrolled in classes.  Use our Schedule an appointment form to schedule a phone appointment.  Students who wish to request materials in alternate formats, for example audio or e-text, should visit our Alternate Media webpage for instructions.

  • Financial Aid
Did you know that the application filing period for Financial Aid for 2020-2021 began October 1st? Be sure to file as soon as possible and follow up on your "To Do" items in MyCerritos if you want to be considered for Financial Aid for the 2020-2021 academic year.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING PHONE APPOINTMENTS:  During the COVID-19 pandemic, all appointments will be by phone.  Please be ready to receive the call at your appointment time.  The call will come from a blocked number so please go ahead and answer it.  If our call isn't isn't answered the first time, we will try again in 5 minutes.  If our call isn't answered the second time, students will need to reschedule the appointment.
