Cerritos College Culinary Arts Cafe and the Falcon Room Restaurant are the creative outlets for the Cerritos College Culinary Arts Program and the premiere dining destinations on the Cerritos College Campus. Our dining outlets are designed to give both students and diners a unique learning and gastronomic experience. The Culinary Arts program focuses much of its time and energy into experiential learning through the Café and the Falcon Room Restaurant.
Mission and Vision:
The objective of this teaching style is to give graduating students practical skills to match the theories learned in the classroom. With these skills our students are able to seamlessly blend into fine dining establishments upon graduating from the programs.
How do we operate?
Each week, the students rotate through various stations thereby gaining a comprehensive knowledge of the workings of a kitchen. Students work all aspects of the restaurant from creating menus and researching international cuisines to taking orders, using our touchscreen POS, assisting diners, and orchestrating their meal.
On-Campus Food Service Operations:
The Falcon Room Restaurant is open for faculty, staff, and the community. We are open Monday-Thursday from 11 am- 12:45 pm. For 5 - course dining, we are open from Tuesday - Thursdays from 12 pm - 1 pm. Please refer to our calendar for availability. Walk-Ins are available daily, unless there is a prix-fixe 5-course lunch scheduled, but online reservations are encouraged.
We are open to the public and we would like to invite you to dine with us for the full Café/Restaurant experience.
Banquet and Catering Services are offered on-campus only. Please check out Banquet and Catering page for the catering menu. Unfortunately, Cerritos College Culinary Arts does NOT offer off-site catering. Also, we are CLOSED on holidays and college breaks (Thanksgiving, Winter, Spring Break, Summer Break).
