President Scholars Academy
The Cerritos College President Scholars Academy is an academy developed to reach out to high school students from ABC, Bellflower, Downey, Norwalk/La Mirada, and Paramount Unified School districts, who are interested in STEM related fields
Benefits:
- Small, supportive setting with only 32 high school students
- Helps prepare students for college
- Mandated Weekly Scholar Time
- Friday Internships (Coordinated by the K-12 District)
- Students attend high school in the morning & Cerritos College in the afternoon
- Students graduate with a high school diploma from their high school
- Students earn a minimum of 24.5 Cerritos College units, including 8 units of science and 4 units of English that are transferable to any CSU or UC
