Senate Committees

Welcome to the Faculty Senate Committees page. Faculty Senate committees play an essential advisory role by providing research, analysis, and recommendations to the Senate on various issues affecting our college community. While these committees do not have policymaking authority, they serve the Senate directly, ensuring that faculty perspectives are represented in the governance process. It is important to note that any policy recommendations from Senate committees require Senate approval to be considered valid. Only policies reviewed and approved by the Senate are formally recognized, safeguarding the integrity of the Faculty Senate as the faculty representative on academic and professional matters to the Board of Trustees.
