Cerritos College is partnering with UnidosUS and Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to promote Housing Counseling Connect, a FREE and CONFIDENTIAL program to support homeownership and provide guidance for all the steps to get there.  This program will empower you with the resources and support you need to achieve your dream of home ownership.  This program is also to provide counseling support for those who may be facing foreclosure or struggling with managing their home ownership.  

This program is for you if:

• You are unsure of the home buying process
• You want to prepare yourself to purchase a home in the future
• You want to know more about how to improve your credit score
• You are struggling with your mortgage 

Resources include:

• Budgeting
• Credit review (since it is for counseling, inquiry will not show up on your credit report)
• Developing step-by-step action plans

Process:

1. Complete the Housing Counseling Connect referral form
2. A Housing Counseling Connect partner will reach out to you for a quick intake appointment (10 minutes)
3. Based on your needs, you will be connected with a Housing Coach or Counselor to work toward achieving your goals!

Cerritos College students - completing your intake appointment and first coaching session can earn you a $100 gift card!
