Police Department
Welcome to the Cerritos College Police Department (CCPD). I am Don Mueller and I am the Chief of Police here at Cerritos College. The CCPD is a full-service police agency, sworn to protect and support the students and staff of Cerritos College. We are comprised of 11 full-time police officers, 2 command officers, 3 full-time dispatchers, and a host of college cadets who patrol the campus 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
CCPD strives to be a campus-wide integrated police department, with dedicated officers and staff invested and involved in student groups and support services throughout the college. We recognize and value diversity, both within the college campus and within our own department. We are vocal allies for our communities of color, our currently undocumented students, our LGBTQ students and staff, our Muslim and Asian communities, and the entire diverse body that makes Cerritos College the incredible institution that it is.
Please check out the links on the left to view the many services that we offer and provide, from Live Scan fingerprinting to R.A.D. (Rape, Aggression, Defense) self-defense classes and campus safety escorts at night.
In the event of an EMERGENCY, call 911 or use one of the blue emergency call boxes or towers located throughout campus.
And also know that you can reach out to us for help or simple advice, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at: (562) 924-3618 or ext. 2325 or by email at campus-police@cerritos.edu
