The Justice Scholars Program at Cerritos College provides personalized support to students who have been impacted by the justice system. Whether you're transitioning from detention or returning to education, we’re here to help you navigate college and reach your goals.

Who Can Join

You’re eligible if you are:

• Formerly incarcerated or justice-involved
• Currently on probation, parole, or transitioning from detention
• Enrolled (or planning to enroll) in Cerritos College courses

Support Services

Justice Scholars receive access to:

• Academic counseling and education planning
• College application and registration assistance
• Peer mentorship and community-building workshops
• On- and off-campus resource referrals
• Basic needs, mental health, and legal support connections
• A welcoming, student-focused space on campus
