Title IX and Athletics
Statement of compliance with EADA 2020-2021:
Title IX of the Education Amendments Act of 1972 applies to all educational programs and activities within an educational institution receiving federal financial assistance. Athletics is one of the District’s educational programs and activities.
Title IX requires that men and women be provided equitable opportunities to participate in sports within the College.
The 1994 Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act (EADA) requires annual reporting and disclosure of information pertaining to athletic participation, budgets, and expenditures. The EADA report is intended to provide prospective students with information regarding the District’s athletic opportunities for men and women.
